Alex Glinka is CTO at The Leaders Expedition (LEx), which is a non-profit enterprise connecting accomplished people of all ages and backgrounds, from business, government, science, the arts and academe, who share a passion for leadership responsibility and global change. Alex is also Host of LEx’s GlobalCircle for Science & Technology. Prior to joining LEx Alex built and led the Strategic Innovation & Data Science division at Sears Canada and Initium Commerce Lab. He has 6 years of digital agency experience, including Isobar and FCB directing artificial intelligence technology initiatives. Likewise, Alex has 8 years health care technology experience, including directing clinical data science technologies. In 2015, Alex co-founded LifeNode, an artificial intelligence mental health platform for suicide prevention. With a pragmatic passion for innovation and leadership drawing upon insights across industries, startup ecosystem, and academic research, Alex is a frequent speaker at conferences sharing his passion for innovation and leadership in a world of accelerated change.
