Deborah Campbell, VP of Consumer and Marketplace Insights, leads teams that provide holistic consumer understanding to Verizon. Her organization leverages primary and syndicated research, social/digital and media insights to enhance the customer experience, drive business results and improve Verizon’s brand equity.

Prior to her current role, Campbell was Head of Consumer and Marketplace Insights at Gerber Products Co. – the infant nutrition division of Nestle USA. There she developed actionable insights that helped create successful brand and communications strategies, identified and targeted key consumer and influencer segments, launched profitable new products and optimized category management.

Campbell has over 25 years’ experience within Consumer Insights providing strategic guidance to companies such as American Express, Kraft, Bayer and Reckitt Benckiser. She has been a speaker at The Market Research Event and Shopper Insights in Action and has been recognized in ‘Who’s Who’ in Shopper Insights.

Campbell holds a bachelor’s degree in History & Political Science from Wellesley College and a Master of Science degree in Political Science from MIT.
