Ashlin is the General Counsel and Secretary for SSI responsible for legal compliance throughout operations in 18 countries. She is a leading expert on privacy issues relating to online information privacy and a sought after speaker on these topics. Her privacy law responsibilities include: developing a compliance program for the EU Privacy and Cookie Directives, writing an information security program, developing a global employee privacy and data protection policy, incorporating privacy by design principles and monitoring ongoing business operations.
With twelve years of marketing and privacy law experience, she has worked on global digital, mobile and social media campaigns. Previously, she was a member of the Privacy and Data Protection team at the MasterCard Law Department and she was responsible for privacy law matters at Webloyalty and Pitney Bowes.
