Senior Manager, Consumer Insights

Brian Laverty is senior manager of Consumer Insights Research for WarnerMedia. In this role, he helps lead a variety of research initiatives including Advertising Format Innovations, Consumer Decision Journeys, and Direct-To-Consumer streaming service exploration. The Consumer Insights team utilizes a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods from consumer co-creation ideation sessions to discrete choice and max-diff analyses.
Based in New York, he reports to Natasha Hritzuk, Vice President of Consumer Insights Research for WarnerMedia.

Prior to joining the Consumer Insights team in 2017, Laverty was an analyst and manager for CNN Ad Sales Research. He was responsible for harnessing insights and demographic viewership information from syndicated sources, as well as primary research in ad effect studies, to maximize revenue for original series programming titles, news mainstays, and the unprecedented 2016 election cycle.

Laverty earned his MBA and master’s in Television Management from Drexel University and his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business from Lafayette College. He lives in Jersey City with his wife Emily and their cantankerous cat Scout.
