With over thirteen years of “Internet of Things” deal creation, consulting and account management experience – Mr. Scully is a recognized pioneer and leader with an extensive history of identifying, creating and managing game changing digital solutions. An original executive of the nPhase wireless start-up team – Rick developed key IoT monitoring solutions, ran the Healthcare practice and supported its sale to Qualcomm in 2006. Rick then led the healthcare team within Qualcomm Enterprise Services and helped position the offering for the overall group’s successive joint venture and subsequent sale to Verizon Wireless. Now at IBM, Rick continues to promote and develop IoT solutions which enable enterprise clients to securely monitor dispersed assets through the cloud and beyond. And working with the IBM Watson IoT platform – Rick is helping extend the power of cognitive computing to the billions of connected devices, sensors and systems that comprise the IoT.
