Scott Stanchak is the Managing Director, Mobile Marketing at The New York Times. His team is accountable for all acquisition and owned media optimization related to the company’s core mobile website and apps. Previously, Stanchak led mobile marketing and product strategy for Avis Budget Group.
He’s also the founder of BakBurner Digital. The company has released numerous mobile apps, including Winery Passport, which is one of the top winery apps on iTunes and Google Play.
Stanchak has been a leader in digital strategy for over 10 years. His experience developing and executing mobile and Web strategies for multimillion-dollar brands also includes work with the NBA, AT&T and Fox News, among others. He believe it’s important to create innovative, frictionless digital products and has a mission of acquiring profitable leads at the lowest cost possible.
