Akbar Ladak is the creator & co-inventor of Wipro Sight – Wipro’s unique and award winning solution for in-store & shelf analytics.
Over the course of his career in the technology industry a decade, he has worn multiple hats – coder, technology strategist & salesman.
His latest gig is as resident technology business incubator at Wipro’s CTO Office. As part of that role, Akbar leads a team that has developed multiple products and solutions that solve critical business problems in the Retail, Insurance & Banking industries. Prior to this role, Akbar lead Wipro’s business in New Media Technologies for Emerging Markets, was a Lead Architect for large-scale solutions in Telecom & Media, & has provided Technology Advisory to organizations across the globe.
Akbar has 4 patents pending and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta. His interests lie in doing things that are difficult, interesting & impactful.
