Omri Halevi, Mobile Research Labs

Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder.

Omri oversees the business and overall performance of MRL which he co-founded in 2009. 
Prior to founding MRL, Omri served in a variety of Hi-Tech companies dealing with telecommunication, Internet and online security technologies, where he was a key to their international expansion and product roadmap definition.

Omri was the Head of Global Business Development at Comverse Inc., leading new growth-engine creation and go to market strategies. Before that Omri was part of the management of OHV serving also in the board of its portfolio companies. In Cyota (now RSA, the Security Division of EMC) Omri served as the Director of Strategic Business & Product Development, accounting for the European markets as well as for secured mobile payments. As a Product Manager in Galleo (eMobile) Omri lead development of first ever Smartphones, and in Contact Networks Inc. prior to that, Omri was leading product creation, identifying and translating market needs into cutting edges multiplatform products.
In his early career Omri served as a UNIX developer taking part in creating a war-simulation computerized game used by armies around the world.

Omri holds degrees from both the Technion, Israel’s Technology Institute, and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and is passionate about life-sciences in general and Biology in particular.

A father of five, Omri, a vegetarian out of ideology, has been practicing and teaching Aikido for over 20 years and is a recreational swimmer and an amateur carpenter building tree homes for his kids and anything else needed around the home.

Omri served in the IDF’s Special-Ops as a team leader, combat officer and a commander.
